Amidst the current uganda high online social activity, i have sensitized many ugandans on facebook about steemit.

Of late the facebook has been having a high activity due to some political matters that have been taking place.
Mostly this engagement has been by youths who are bitter of the current political state. They have given their views about the possibilities of a new uganda with a very reduced rate of unemployment, low taxes and more security.
The matters on most of these topics are still pending though i was able to reach out to some lucky ugandans and i told them about the beauty of blockchain and how they can make some money online.
The social network taxes that were passed about a few months ago is one of the main issues of the youths in uganda are trying to adress,
And in this case i was trying to provide a solution on how an average ugandan can put the internet data to better use.

After commenting on one busy thread on facebook with some ideas about online earning.
Some of the members came to my inbox with interest.
It mostly always takes time to explain to average person about blockchain, but still i try to be basic and count on the steemit regular meet ups or personal training to help some members.

It's a good sign to have even more interested members, i have began using facebook more often to promote steemit and generally sensitize people about the beauty of blockchain technology.
Such initiatives have led to the growth of our community and i can say they have been so effective.
Sidenote; I blurred out the names for some privacy, if these people need it.

It's great we do get some numbers that can show up on steemit gatherings for more knowledge.
