In promoting what we call the only valuable social platform of this century it won't always be bells and whistles.
I once came across a friend who was so negative about steemit and to my surprise after a few weeks of talking to him casually, mind you, i never convinced anyone to join steemit. That's just not my job. I let them realise the value steemit has and what lives steemit has changed.
So yesterday i once again received his message, this time he was asking about how he can be able to join steemit.
The number of registered users comes closer to the number of active users.
Literally there is no point in people signing up that don't use the platform.
This drives us to one major point.
It's interesting to know how most of us are doing it.
I will be coming back with the most frequent ways we are using to promoting steemit in uganda.
The best ways so far, the ones that have been so effective.
I would like to know your ways and suggestions too.
As always

Peace out.
I told my girlfriend today about Steemit, she was very excited and had a lot of questions which I answered best I could. I told her that I just registered a couple of days ago and I'm still learning. She wants to start posting about Thailand and cosmetics reviews which got me thinking, what is the percentage of women on Steemit?

That's a good thing, the response she gave when she saw the excitement you had about steemit. It was a postive energy.
And yeah steemit has a good percentage of women, it's hard to tell the exact percentage but it's about close to 40% and these days more women are joining which is a good thing.
