This was a day when i saw real smiles and laughters after a long while,We had fun, gave and received.
These children got a new beginning in their lives, attending school with no worries, basic schooling materials and school requirements were sorted.

How did this come about?

@kafkanarchy84 donated 100sbd to these children that were badly in need of a push. It was such a good feeling being able to help some people with a hand to help me too. Earlier i had the plans but had to foot small things in some of these children's lives.

These children live in takajunge Mukono Uganda in a location near our fellow steemian residence. We used to come around and interact when we were going to our friends place. These people have dreams just like anyone else.

It was quite unfortunate that peter, the kid wearing orange long sleeved t-shirt was not around for the event. He had gone with his dad to the village. We just made sure we preserve some for him.

It was one one of those days when everything seemed to make me happy. these people were always happy to receive us.

After the donation me and my uganda steemit team contributed some more money to help these people get somewhere in education.
You see Africa has one of it's biggest problem, illiteracy, These amazing kids have illiterate parents who don't give education any value, they either use the small money they earn to drink alcohol or they totally have no idea of the benefits of basic education to their kids.

Me and my Uganda steemit team used some of the money to buy these people requirements for school. School for primary kids is soon starting a few weeks from now at around 5th February. In Uganda we have some basic free education for kids but it is so bad that they rarely teach, and due to teacher's underpayments they always have a bad attitude towards the pupils. Though we have some good but not free schools, they give adequate knowledge to pupils and the handling is so good.

How was this day like?

Reached in the place at about 5:00pm in the evening. And these people were waiting for us, they knew we would show up on this Friday. We had bought some stuff mostly school requirements for them.
brooms, pens, pencils, books, sets, toilet papers, basically because school was soon starting.
It got dark pretty soon because we had to spend sometime eating and drinking some stuff.
It was such a great experience sharing our joy together this time again.

Giving them some t-shirts, i had no clue red would would look so good on them.

I can't explain how much a joy these people had, they were so excited for the steemit t-shirts more than anything. I always thought to myself how it would feel like going into a village deep down in Uganda and you found a kid wearing a steemit t-shirt.
It was such a night for all of us.

It was time to give these people some books. They rarely get such enough school requirements.

We had to talk to the elders about their kid's general condition, we thought if we decided to help these people we had to do all what is possible to make the aspects of their lives much more better.

Some of the illiterate parents value education, it's just the finance that hinders giving good education to their children. Giving some parents advice on how some basic education can be good for an African child is too a very big step to reduce on the levels of illiteracy in the rural areas of Africa.

Sharing a photo with some of the parents, they were eager to know about the organizations we work for. They wished good people like us could always pass by and give some little help once in while.
Deep down in some villages like these. it's always hard for the government organizations to notice some underprivileged persons.

Smiles from underprivileged children don't always come easy, for these people were lost in joy this evening, i just wish their joy lasts forever. Sometimes we might not always have enough on us to make everyone happy. Uganda is one of the countries where a big percentage are suffering for lack of basic needs. It's my country, I wasn't so special to get a chance of getting good basic education, it wasn't all my efforts. When i think of that, i realize it's non of these kids fault for being like this.
If only i can help them more and more, if only i can help more of these people.

Big thanks going to @kafkanarchy84

Expressing my sincere applause for choosing uganda. You gave us such a donation that can help these people cover their basic school needs for first terms this year in school. You gave someone some people hope even when you have never seen them. It's a good heart you have. Such deeds we appreciate them so much.
Again thank you.
You made our evening together with these children so wonderful.
