Hello Sir @stephenkendal, I have always had this vision about spreading the message of steemit through giving back to the society.
This has led me to come up with the idea of a steem backed foundation that shall be called "Steem for Succour"
This foundation shall cater for the less privileged in the society, take care of hospital bills of people with severe ailments that cannot afford payment for their hospital bills, the foundation will also take care of paying fees for kids who their parents can't afford to pay their fees and by sharing this much love people would be more willing to join such a platform that would add so much succour to a wounded world.
I am open to discussing this project further and would also be writing a detailed proposal for this.
