Values we would like to encourage Whales to adopt such as, distribute their votes unselfishly to help minnows (and ultimately grow the platform), not take too much money off of Steemit (as this will lower the Steem).
How the people of Steemit can encourage high net worth individuals to a). Invest in Steemit (raising the Steem price and providing them a return) b) encourage their audiences to join Steem (raising the Steem price and growing the platform).

Thanks Jerry and thanks for your support. The success of both #promo-uk and #promo-steem have somewhat created a double edge sword. There is so much great creative content that is being created in promoting Steemit that both Matt and I have realised very quickly that our votes alone will not be enough to reward those Promotional Initiatives we want to support. It is this that we feel has quickly identified a problem. We can ask people to get out there and promote Steemit but this valuable work cannot be supported enough if it is down to Matt and I to reward. We simply need more power. As a result of this Matt and I have decided that we are going to preserve our voting power for those Promotional Initiatives that we feel deserves the most support. At the rate that #promo-steem and #promo-uk has taken off we are worried that we will have to reduce our voting power reward to below 80% per blog as soon as early next week just to keep on top of the #promo-steem and #promo-uk blogs, which is something Matt and I really do not want to do. I hadn't really thought about the high net worth individuals, but the whale interest is a definite.
Apart from @jerrybanfield I haven't spotted too many of the top steemians talk too much about actually promoting the platform externally. But I haven't particularly been looking so I may have missed them.
Have you got any of the whales or top dolphins on board yet with promo-steem?

Hi @pennsif. That depends on your definition of a Whale, but we do have Matt @starkerz who has a significant balance, and a few others on the team do well too, however Matts votes are stretched thin, so we could do with the support of a few of the mega whales i.e £1m+

Nice video, impressive the amount of effort you guys are putting in. Honestly though offline advertising does not work well for online websites. You don't see Amazon,Ebay etc spending much on leaflets do you? Your time would be much better spent online.
I agree investors need to be targeted more though
