Hey guys,
So if you're like the most of us out there, currency, specifically the paper / plastic we all use in our life, has a significant impact on many people's lives. I'd like to open a discussion on this post about how money effects everyone's happiness? You know that good old saying "Money can't buy happiness?" - Let's see how true that really is!
For me, personally, I have been in many relationships, hook ups, I've had hobbies I've loved and enjoyed, I've made good money, and I've also put myself in debt. I have been working for years, and I have gone years without working. I've had an income from all across the map, and have been the most stable, to the most unstable.
For me, one of my happiest points in life, was when I was with a woman who will remain unnamed. We had a twisted back and fourth relationship, and for the most of this relationship I was broke, and depressed. This was years ago. I was still happy though, for the most part, because it was true love.
Now I'm happy being single - and not having any drama in my life, that right woman will come one day. So for me, today, if I were to get spoiled with winning the lottery, money could buy me at least 8/10 of my happiness. I am very independent, I don't have a lot of friends, I'm used to not having a significant other, so for me, if I could have money now and clear all my debt and start doing all the things I enjoy without thinking about it - I would be happy.
I may not having the satisfactory feeling of filling an emptied heart with love, but at least 80% of the time I would just be completely content with having a bunch of money.
How about you guys?
