Weekly update on steempeninsula voting activity and logo contest announcement.

Awesome. However, if the rules were changed, isn't it fair to ask the contestants if they are satisfied with the new rules since it involves the use of their intellectual property? IMG-20180305-WA0002.jpg

The image above somehow makes it look like the creator of the image (@the.chiomz) won. What do you think?

Hello @owenmaya,

A disclaimer had earlier been made in this post to use these images for few hours before we drop it.
Author should make a disclaimer at the entrance into the contest.
Be aware this is contest, and as such, entering into the contest does not guarantee your winning. Moreso, uploading any image of your work automatically and impliedly award the organiser full right to make use of the images in ways he deem fit, otherwise, you won't have to participate or rather make a clause restraining the organiser from using such image if you lose in the contest, perhaps that isn't a good practice.

We hope that you reconsider what the right etiquette connotes.

I don't really understand these things. Apparently the author does not either since he/she claims to be shocked by this development. I guess you are free to use the image for as long as you want if she did make a disclaimer. But if she did not, well, I guess you know more about the intricacies of your contest and I wish you well.

We as well stated in the post to reward them for the time spent to put that up. That amount to giving enough consideration to reserve the right to use the image

Oh, thank you.

I noticed it too and I was shocked!
