Harvest clubs lower the barrier to entry to harvesting (like Bitcoin mining) by removing the burden of running a full node, collecting new transactions and always on-line communication with peer nodes. In TAU, address initially received a transaction are automatically added into a harvest club so that they can enjoy these benefits without infliction. Address can always switch club by signal. When a successful block is harvested, its reward (transaction fees contained in this block) goes into the club leader's address. The leader chooses how much reward to distribute to club members according to their transaction numbers. A certain amount of reward is declared for club leader.
Club wiring Transaction: TAU creates a special transaction called “club wiring”. It declares rewards to all qualified addresses based on their activities without consuming space in blocks.
A data structure is created on nodes to record the balance received in each address by computing “club wiring” and transaction history. This function is to be implemented in main-net.
Automatic Block Size: To achieve high velocity, any fixed block size will eventually be a limitation. A novel automatic block size is experimented and in engineering. Given assumption long term network bandwidth will increase; we propose each node depends on their network speed to decide the most economical block size. When each node achieves their fit block size, the overall speed of transaction will be optimized on the global TAU network.
UNIQUENESS OF TAU PLATFORM
• Unlike many other cryptocurrencies which are engaged in a battle of the fees, Tau will remain permanently low in fees due to its innovative harvesting strategy.
• Privacy is very much a human-centric feature and TAU attempts to implement privacy sets it apart from other digital currency in a big way that would appeal to almost everyone.
