Wheyl Nutrition Co. Review

Hey guys! So I have been working out this past few months. Actually I’m trying to squeeze in my workout routine in my hectic schedule. Well honestly I’m just working out at home while following the workout videos of Rebecca-Louise which I will be talking about that in another blog because this blog is not about my workout routine. As I was saying my friend and I have been searching for protein powders in malls and online. As we all know protein powders are really expensive and it is out of my budget as a newly hired employee. Until, one day as I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, I saw this sponsored post on Facebook about the Wheyl Nutrition Co. I got curious because I saw that it is a protein powder and I have never heard about their product so I looked at their profile and read some of their post and the reviews from their customers and while reading the good reviews I decided to give it a try. So I messaged their Facebook Page and asked a bunch of things like how to order, how many shipping days and if I can gain weight with their products. Which is my main priority that’s why I’m working out and planning to drink protein powder. So, back to the product. The Wheyl Nutrition Co. launched their Facebook page last May 19, 2017 well based on their first post in Facebook.

What is Wheyl Nutrition Co.?

Of course, as a Food Technologist I need to check if they are FDA certified before buying their product.

On their first post on Facebook last May 19, 2017 shows their first flavor which is the Salted Chocolate. Their Salted Chocolate contains whey protein concentrate, stevia extract, cocoa powder and salt.

The Salted Chocolate contains 21g of Protein per 30g of serving. The ingredients are all natural and there are 15 servings per pound. Which they only sold their product by pound.

Last, August 18, 2017 Wheyl Nutrition Co. released their second flavor which is the Naked White. The Naked White only contains two ingredients. The whey protein concentrate and stevia.

In the Naked White flavor it has 23 grams of protein per 30 grams of serving. Which as they say “Packing 23 grams of protein per scoop with more than 5 grams of naturally occurring BCAAs, it’s just Naked White. 🐋”.

Aside from the two flavors they are also planning to make new flavors. As of now they are asking their customers for suggestions on what their new flavor should be. Here is a side by side nutrition comparison of the flavors.

I know you guys are all waiting for the price of the protein powder. They only sell their product per pound and it is in a resealable bag.

Of course, you have the right to choose the flavor you want. But if you are ordering 2 pounds or 5 pounds you can choose if it is all Salted Chocolate or Naked White or if you want you can mix and match your order. So that you can taste both flavors. Aside from ordering the protein powder you also have the right to choose if you want a scoop or not. The scoop cost PHP10 but it is free on your first order. Aside from the free scoop you also get a free waterproof William the Whale sticker.

And of course, how will you pay your order? You have only three options.

It is either BDO, BPI or Cash On Delivery. So how much will the shipping fee be and how long will it take? When you decided to pay your order thru BDO or BPI the shipping fee will be PHP60 for Metro Manila and PHP140 – 220 for Provincial area. The shipping days will be 1 – 2days. And when you decided to choose the Cash On Delivery the shipping fee is PHP110 but it is only available for Metro Manila customers only. The Cash On Delivery takes longer shipping days. Which is 4 – 5 days. Recently though it is been taking less. Like my order. I choose the Cash On Delivery and it only took 2 days to be delivered. You just have to cross your finger and hope to get your order as soon as possible.

One thing I liked about the Wheyl Nutrition Co. is that they are really responsive. They answer all your questions politely and they give you the chance to know more about their product. Aside from that when you order they response immediately once they got your order/s.
