Anti-Putin protests in Russia: more than one and a half thousand leaders detained

Police detained 1,600 activists from Russia's anti-Putin protests. Meanwhile, opposition leader Alexei Navalny is there.

Putin's anti-Putin protests over more than 90 cities in Russia, including Moscow Protesters gave various slogans against Putin.

Alexei Navalny called for the protests in view of Vladimir Putin's debut as the Russian president. Before the detention he spoke to supporters at the center of Moscow.

Note that Navalny could not take part in the last election on corruption charges. However, he has claimed that the allegation is politically motivated. Police have arrested Navalini from Pushkin Square in Moscow.

In fact, Vladimir Putin was re-elected in the elections held in March this year with a huge vote. If he can end the term, he will achieve the glory of Russia's 24 years of power.
