Somebody sent me this photo that they took from their TV screen.
It was the line of police near the White House on Lafayette Square just before they deployed tear gas or pepper spray to clear protesters in order to clear a path for Trump to have his photo taken outside of the St Johns Episcopal Church.
Do you think the guy with his shield upside down in front of millions of TV viewers has been the butt of his colleagues jokes for a week or two.
I know it was a stressful situation for everybody involved, protesters and police but it still made me smile.
