The Bible instructs us to:

Confess your faults one to another,
and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:16 (KJV)

Psalm 150 King James Version (KJV)

  1. Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
  2. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
  3. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
  4. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
  5. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
  6. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Let's start using a new tag...

...for our prayer requests and praise reports
#prpr

That way it will be easy for

  • prayer warriors to find prayer requests
    • all Christians to be encouraged by the praise reports of others
      • as we are instructed to do in the Bible...

If you post a prayer request or praise report, please us the new tag #prpr.

Comment your prayer requests

Feel free to comment any prayer requests you may have.

  • You can always request prayer without going into detail.
    • We will pray for you and God will know exactly why we are...
      • Your comment can be as simple as "Prayer Request please."

Comment your praise reports

Feel free to comment any praise reports you may have.

  • Let others praise Him for answering your prayer
    • Encourage those with prayer needs by seeing prayers do in fact get answered.

Comment if you are a prayer warrior

Let others know so they can follow you.

  • Include a link to your introductory post or any post about your Christian life you would like to share.
    • If it is a new post (<7 days) I will upvote you and probably others will too...

Watch for new posts

I will do a new post every so often.

Or use one of the links below, since I will always tag the posts with #prpr

Welcome to The Virtual Perfect Church

or The VPC for short

I will be introducing it to the Steemit users over the next few weeks.

I will be using the tag #VPC for articles about it.

Coolfish.png I'll start with a praise report.

  • I am thankful for the Steemit opportunity.
    • God planted a seed in someone's head, and they watered and fertilized it and created Steemit.
      • Thanks @Ned and everyone involved for taking action and creating this opportunity.
  • I think this platform can solve a lot of problems in the world.
    • Those who have can more easily support those who have not.
      • Rather than going through a charity, which always takes a cut...
    • We have the opportunity to become charity.
      • We can upvote people anywhere in the world.
        Which costs us nothing!
      • We can donate SBD to anyone anywhere in the world.
And share our success with those less fortunate.
    • All without any fees charged by the exchange.

Coolfish.png And here's my prayer request.

  • My brother recently suffered a heart attack and had to have a quadruple bypass.
    • Please pray for his recovery and help with the necessary lifestyle changes he will need to make...

Amen

I ran across a good prayer post by @deathlyhorror

purpball.gif Acute Prayer

Satan doesn't want you to see this message because the power of prayer is great. Prayer has the power to and is the only way for you to move the heavens on behalf of those for whom you pray. Prayer has the power to impact those you love as well as your whole country and even the whole world. Intercessory prayer is the battlefield wherewith we join forces with God to bring down the strongholds of the enemy.

Ran across another prayer post...

Some quotes:

You are before the Lord; let your words be few but let your heart be fervent.

prayer itself is an art which only the Holy Ghost can teach us. He is the giver of all prayer.

The very act of praying is a blessing.

  • To pray is, as it were,
    • to bathe oneself in a cooling stream,
    • to mount on eagle's wings above the clouds,
    • to enter the treasure house of God.
  • To pray is to grasp heaven in one's arms,
    • to embrace the Deity within one's soul.
  • To pray is to
    • cast off your burdens,
    • to tear away your rags,
    • to shake off your diseases and
    • to be filled with spiritual vigor.
      • It is to reach the highest point of Christian health.

Jesus Christ says to us.

"If you need anything of God,
all that the Father has belongs to me;
go and use my name."
