Woah. This is going to be a long reply. Please do not take Shutterstock images for your blog and post them.

I want you to know, I am one of your followers. I have been blogging about this issue, and while I am appreciative of your support (you have helped me a bunch), I am considering flagging your post.

The image of the man in green should be licensed from Shutterstock or removed immediately. That is what, in effect, the watermarks mean. (You should not post an image with a watermark.)

If you want to see its origin, I tracked it down to here:

https://www.shutterstock.com/image-vector/worker-loudspeaker-showing-okay-hand-sign-632905844

Any attempts to "download" the file on that page are redirected to a payment plan for Shutterstock, the stock image company that is able to license it. Maybe you should acquire a license for it?

This topic was broached by me last week with a number of blog posts and a proposal for Steem Stock photography. Before I flag this post, please look at my blogs about stock images and see if this makes sense. I have 3 posts of mine linked for your reference. I have more, but the middle one is the most important one for your situation.

Sorry for barging into this. I do not understand what your PSA was about, anyway, so I don't know how to reply in the first place.

Hi @uruiamme, I would highly urge that you take a deep breath, and step away from your threats to flag @cassidyandfrank's post. Flags are reserved for particularly abusive behavior, such as harassment, violent threats, and illegal content such as child porn.

I understand that you object to the use of copyrighted material. These objections should be forwarded to the appropriate Steemit "authorities," if you will. Furthermore, @cassidyandfranks has a legal argument of "fair use," which he can deploy in his defense. Besides, you shouldn't target just one person when virtually everyone utilizes fair use laws.

Finally, I think it's in poor taste to flag your friends, especially those that have supported you. @cassidyandfranks is a well-respected member of the community, and you DO NOT want to kick this hornet's nest. Please just trust me on this.

Thank you

I appreciate your concern @uruiamme

Most definitely the pixabay images tend to be better choices if you don't want to obtain a license through fiat money. One day, I hope to offer a way to get good stock photos and pay for them with Steem currency. Since this wasn't a reply to me, I just saw it. Looks great, and thank you for understanding the situation.

I do want everyone to be careful!

While I had a lengthy discussion on this post about imagery, I did want to say thank you and keep up the work you do for minnows.
