RABIES, SADNESS, DESPERATE AND FEAR - VENEZUELA

Many people go to the doctor because they feel sick and they say:

Doctor, I feel bad

Oh Ok, but what do you have, what is it that makes you feel bad?

I do not know, I feel bad, because I feel bad, Doctor, I really do not know how to explain it !!

Wow what a dilemma when someone says something like that, because the doctor has to identify or guess What is that bad? probing the person, until they get to the bottom of that evil. Given this scenario, when you start to dig as it is said in Creole, you find that the person has a mixture of feelings and emotions found, which originate in anger, fear and sadness.

Then this kind of "Malura, you have to start to see how we handle it, because it's not the same to feel afraid, to feel angry, because one emotion is going to paralyze the other and it's going to trigger you in a different way.
Although each emotion has a good side and a bad side, when we talk about sadness in particular, it can lead you to reflection in contact with yourself and then generate strategies to get out of a complicated situation. Sadness has several components and one is the behavioral component. What is it that is making that person stay at home, maybe it is not fixed, does not bathe, does not want to talk to anyone, withdrawnbehaviorally, without him speaking to you, he is telling you how he feels with his face, every time you try to help him he does not allow it. Friends When we have relatives or acquaintances in this situation we have to ask for help immediately, we can not leave it in that well, because that is dangerous.

We know that many of these emotions are caused or motivated by the situation we live in Venezuela today and this is a determining factor in how they are prevailing and unleashing behavioral problems, the emotions of anger and sadness. So much that of course all these years of exacerbation of the crisis have appeared other emotions that are very difficult to handle that are strange, different from those basic emotions that we know. They begin to conjugate other emotions and that can be noticed in the behavior of the Venezuelan, which has changed much product of the crisis.

There are some emotional states to which they are called, the emotions of the crisis in addition to fear rage sadness is despair.

On one occasion I heard in a conversation, that a lady who said to another:

Girl I am in a state of hopelessness learned

Geez I had never heard that phrase!

And the weirdest thing is that it sounds like this, like something with a name and a surname

But after digesting my astonishment, I analyze it and I tell myself: "Learned despair"

Well, if hopelessness is learned, then hope is too. So if I learn one thing, I can also learn the other, something like being optimistic and having Hope despite the crisis.

Then the same lady said again:

Collapse this weekend, I could not take it anymore !!

What is that? That's not how things work, you do not collapse from one day to the next. If you come dragging worries, and if you do not ask for help in time, then there is a collapse. Because there are people who give it Superwoman or Superman, and then there comes a time when the forces do not give you, they abandon you, both physical and psychological and we do not know how to handle that daze or perplexity, incomprehension, confusion and mourning. There is when the collapse occurs, it is a series or chain of successive events that we sometimes ignore, until we explode.

It is very common the feeling of sadness in the Venezuelan today. For example, when someone leaves the country, a relative or a friend, we cry and grieve because he leaves. But without thinking at times, that the person who leaves also feels a deep sadness, because he is forced by an extreme need, because he has another function to fulfill familiarly and for him personally his psyche is vulnerable.

The suffering for the situation of the country and the great anxiety that the ordinary citizen suffers is so barbarous, that the psychologists have made several serious pronouncements about the state of generalized anxiety that is registered in all Venezuela, declaring it, "a national and health problem public "

Something that is worrisome is to perceive, as people have begun to see as normal, everything that is happening to us, nobody does anything, there is a conformism, an absolute passivity, even though the crisis is very acute and it is not a year or two years, because we have been losing spaces of freedom, losing quality of life, losing tranquility, throughout the last 18 years.

This is a state of general paranoia, there are people who dream of the crisis. That series of symptoms that lead me to conclude that we are already psychosocially ill, that we have to identify the problem, that we have to protect ourselves, that we have to make some corrections, we have to rescue normality in our life, because if we allow that rage, sadness, fear and hopelessness take over us, then we will have lost the battle.
