I think the main benefit is you can set it to where you only upvote when you have 100% voting percentage so it is really for those days that you take a break the votes dont just go to waste. Lets say you want to upvote some of your supporters your upvote power will still be about 98% so you wont need to worry about not having enough power aswell. It uses steem connect authentication so no need to worry about your security since steem connect is secure an apart and many steemit sites use steem connect for you to log into them.
