TO THE DASH LOVE? ABOUT EXPECTATIONS AND REALITIES IN RELATIONSHIPS. TALK ABOUT FRIENDS LOVE

I think the post is a good start in thinking about love, and I would challenge you to think a step further. What if I told you that there is no one out the that can really make you happy? Or sad for that matter? The only person who can is on the inside. You are the only person who can make you happy. As long as you try to find love outside of yourself you are essentially conducting a very egoistic search where you put the responsibility for your happiness in someone else's hands. Think what a giant responsibility that is for someone. If you take care to give yourself love and let the happiness come from inside you can meet someone from a different perspective. Not because you hope they can fill the whole in your soul, but because you have so much love inside that you have enough to share. When love becomes about giving and not taking it doesn't matter if the love is reciprocated. The giving of love feels so good there is no expectation on the other to give something back. With love in your heart you also don't "need" external love, and instead it can be a lovely bonus in life. =)
I hope you find the love you need inside and I hope you find someone to share that love with. <3
