Thermometers tell you what the temperture is and thermostats tell you what the temperture is going to be. As William Shakespear said (through Romeo...directed at Juliete) "...But soft, what air through younder window breaks..it is the east and Juliete the sun. Arise fair sun and kill the envious moon who is already sick and pale with grief, that thou her maiden are far more fair than she. Be not her maid since she is envious, her vistal liveres are sick and green and none but fools do wear them - cast them off..."
I sometimes think about what Shakespear said. The picture that he paints with his words is beautiful.
In his minds eye he is looking out of a window that faces east, and he speaks to Juliete and compares her to the sunlight (new day) at the same time he speaks of his "old lovers" as the moon (which is a less great light that yeilds to the sunlight). Romeo says that Juliete used to be like a servant (maiden) but the pauper has become the king, and the Shakspear says something that I am wanting to say
"stop acting like them turkies"
Romeo was telling Juliete "there is no good reason for you to try to impress someone that is envious of you"
I was taught that there are four diffrent voices that are competing for your attention.
#1 The voice that tries to explain what you think that other people think of you.
#2 The voice that tries to explain what other people think of you.
#3 The voice that tries to explain what you think of yourself.
#4 The voice that explains who you actualy are.
(Save yourself from some trouble and just start listening to voice #4) I can understand that some of us have listened to voices #1-3 for so long we do not even hear the voice of #4. I would like to help you out with that situation. I am not immune from hearing voices #1-3, however I know that at best they paint a half truthfull story. Proably the most honest of the 3 voices is #3 and that is what my mind thinks is a fact. So why do I not even trust my own thoughts...because human emotions are decietful (The most cleverly told lie contains 99.9% truth)
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9
I am not going to listen to a telivision, radio, or internet program tell me who I am. I am going to learn truth from sorces that are older than the hills (and more reliable than the sun) Please take the time to read one of my favorite books. The book is Ecclesiastes

Please resteem this article, because I am certain that someone needs to read the words.
