Nice post! I certainly agree that it would be beneficial for all of us to increase our thinking about the value of our time and that it would certainly profit most of us financially. However, certain things have an emotional value that succeed our perception of money such as spending time with people we love. Most people do not think "Damn I am losing 30$ while visiting my grandmother for an hour" and it is good that way. Time is certainly valuable and almost all of us could use their time more wisely and efficiently in a financial matter. But you should never forget to cherish certain moments that no money in the world can buy you!
