Almost every country has experienced natural disasters, both in the form of small and large. For the state of Indonesia, natural disasters that often occur are earthquakes and floods. Sometimes there is also a catastrophic eruption of volcanoes.

By definition, A disaster is a sudden, calamitous event that seriously disrupts the functioning of a community or society and causes the society's power to cope with its own resources. Though often caused by nature, disasters can have human origins. [1]
Aceh is one of the provinces located at the westernmost tip of Indonesia. The province was once hit by a major disaster that was Tsunami high wave in 2004 ago. The strength of the earthquake before the tsunami reached 9.1 to 9.3 on the richter scale.
In the catastrophe it claimed the lives of up to 220 thousand inhabitants. The victims of the majority of the Muslim community, because the province of Muslim population reached 98 percent.
After a natural disaster occurs, many outside worlds are sympathetic to Aceh. Both from the west and from the east. They all come in the name of humanity and fraternity.
According to the researchers, many tsunami survivors do not return to live in the aid houses provided on their plots, or returned and soon left. People who can afford it settled in more inland parts of the city, while renting out their aid house to others.
"And some tsunami survivors who do return and want to move farther from the coast but can not afford to do so," says McCaughey. [2]
Psychologically, the people of Aceh at that time was very shaken. Many of their missing family members were brought by sea water. Thousands of buildings were destroyed, living only a few buildings are mosques.

Psychological disorders that occur in humans are considered the main problem. This problem is the impact of extreme events such as disasters as an abnormal condition resulting in an abnormal response to the occurrence of a disaster. The human response to natural disasters varies greatly, depending on the way people think, behave and interact in the environment. [3] (read: Australian emergency management Institute and Australian society for traumatic distress studies. 2004. Psychological Service in disaster)
Then how about the people of Aceh face the disaster? In general, the people of Aceh seem faster to forget the disaster that has befallen them. It was proven that no Acehnese were traumatized to the point of crazy by the tsunami.
According to the author's analysis, it is due to their strong faith in God. So that causes them not easily discouraged. Moreover, the people of Aceh are very fanatical towards their religion.
In The Quran, the holy book Muslims say:
You will really be tested against your wealth and yourself. And ye shall indeed hear from those who were given the Book before you and from those who associate partners with Allah, many disturbing disturbances. If you have patience and caution, then it is indeed a matter of urgency [Ali Imran / 3: 186].[4]
Another proof that they can rise because of their faith factor is that the kingdom of Aceh was colonized by European countries some time ago. In Islam, anyone who fights and is willing to die for the defense of religion and the state will enter heaven when he dies.
The Netherlands is one of the most ambitious countries to control the kingdom of Aceh had to retreat because of the strength and psychology of a strong Acehnese society.
So then the Dutch no longer use war stretegi to fight against Aceh, but in a religious ideology through Christiaan Snouck Hurgronje (Dutch sociologist) in a way deepens Islamic religion disguised as a cleric.
Conclusion
From the brief article above, the people of Aceh are generally strong believers. Their fanaticism on religion affects their psychology. Because in Islam is prohibited to linger in sadness. It is forbidden to lament what God has imputed to His servant.
Thus, when disaster strikes, they are not difficult to get out of the problem. As humans they still feel sad, but they still think that there is always wisdom pascamusibah.
Now Aceh is more advanced than before the tsunami. In fact, they built a museum as a memorial that Aceh had been a tsunami. In the museum are displayed some goods and pictures as evidence of the tsunami.[]
