I have written a book about a vervet monkey that was raised from babyhood (his mother died in a university laboratory) to his move as a mature monkey to a large sanctuary cage where he had his own family . He was named Mr B after the lecturer Mr Burton who managed the zoology department.
The episodes that are insightful and humorous are also illustrated. It is aimed at an audience of young adults to adult readers reading aloud to children of all ages.
