Can see the potential for ptsd sufferers but recreational use of mdma (however awesome at the time) can feel like your very soul has been removed on the comedown though!

That's true. According to most reports, the comedown can be a bitch. They often refer to the comedown phase as "suicide Tuesday." This is certainly something people who want to use it should be aware of. But for most people, this feeling does not persist over the longer term with moderate use.

Oh yeah people should definately be made aware of the 'joy' of serotonin depletion

Come downs are only harsh when it's not pure or hen you've taken too much. The pure stuff leads to a blissful rest and the next day is peaceful and full of deep thinking.

tahat is true, especially if you have taken a large dose.
