Mini Motivation #33 - Do you have that nagging feeling that you're not doing enough?

If you look at the process of creation, don't you find it funny that of all the creatures in the world, only Man is born defenceless? The lion has it's claws, tortoise it's shell, chameleon it's camouflaging skin, birds it's wings.

And yet, when it comes to Man, we are born with nothing, but the power to create. We create weapons to hunt for food. We create shelter to hide from the rain. We create lenses to expand our senses. We create wings to scale great distances.

Man, we are a being of continuous improvement. We are truly never satisfied, because in the silence of our thoughts, there's this nagging feeling of wanting to be better, do better.

The ability to grow our potential, that's what our makers compensated us with in the absence of claws, shells, skins and flight.

Which is why when we fail to improve, to learn and to progress, we are not fulfilling that gift. It will be a wasted life, a life not explored, a life not lived.

So say no to the status quo. You can go back to the comfort zone every other day, so just go back there tomorrow. But for today, a new day in the Chinese Lunar Year, choose to be better.
