I met a guy on the bus who suggested a Book by Joseph Murphy "The power of your subconscious mind" which is on my reading list. I wonder just how far Murphy goes to describe the power is it limited to scientific knowledge or does it extend to other mystical ideas. Spiritualists like to imagine we are all the same reflection in the eyes looking at the same Sun or for example the 99% realm of the Kabbalists or the 1% realm depending on how you look at it where 99% of the universe is unknowable and science shows us only 1% so maybe everything is interconnected in a deeper unproveable, way such as Karma or even one if the competing M-Theories that claim if we travelled back in time we could never stop major historic events. Some believe that our subconscious is really connected to each other. examples of extra sensory or so-called unexplainable Behavior such as in primitive tribes that could be noted to turn left when the game they were hunting was turning left miles away they could not possibly have know. Also in Papua New Guinea where the locals have 10,000 plants they can tell you the names of but undiscovered to modern science and the local lore explains which plant is edible. It is isaid the plant "speaks" to them the plant says eat me eat me and the plants that are not edible do not say this. I also personally experienced a connection with my mother and I used to know when she was calling once at least even before she called I get a feeling she's calling and she'd call and if the phone rang after the first ring I would say that's my mom and it was my mom every time almost every time and once I was even praying for a solution in my life to God in my twenties and my mom called from another city right after I finished praying and she had the solution had and it was the solution to my problem there are also two examples from the radio CBC Radio had a person on that said and she doesn't know why she told her friend but she said stop the car and saw her friend stop the car she had her window open and she reached her hand out there was a paper bag there brown paper bag and she grabbed it she doesn't know why but she opened it up and inside it was $5,000 of cash and she really needed the money this was a really really important to her I'm she was in trouble and needed this money and she just knew to say stop the car and there was a bag of money another person called in the same program and said that they had lost their wallet she was in the mall and she had lost her wallet so she prayed to her grandmother Vivian for help and within minutes a woman walks up to her and said is this your wallet and it was her wallet and the woman's name was Vivian now that one's really interesting I believe in both to be true because they were first-hand accounts put on the radio and it's not Unthinkable that even if there is no interconnection that those events happened as described. So I wonder I'm not sure I need to read Murphy's book immediately,. I'm doubtful my introverted youth would mandate more consciousness philosophy. It could not be higher priority than Carnegie famous book "How to Win Friends and Influence People" which has been on the list a very long time and recommended by multiple people including my Dad, and University professors. Considering my current situation requires more than tact and perserverence, I am indeed to save my life and family I would require help from many powerful friends which an introverted lifestyle does not provide. My so called best or oldest of friends turned out not even to be friends. This book would be useful notably if I had read it when I was younger so maybe sometime after I finish that. I do wonder why this book was brought my attention again by this stranger I commented that perhaps it's because he is aware of something he's not telling me that he thinks I need to read this book due to some information he has that he assumes I know but won't share with me the manner in which he collected the information or as I suggest the information itself as it's not even true I frequently encounter people that seem to have this problem. however I do like books so I take suggestions seriously anyways I added that most people should know if they are on the dark net and somebody claims to have a hack of the police or government secret Communications and they can watch and listen to the drama that unfolds regarding what is actually not me and purported to be me such as a TV program or soap opera it is not a hack of nothing in reality it's just a play put on for the people that believe the information comes from or appears to be is a real hack of the government and it became a theory to explain much of the ignorance face daily since the psychopath once said "this is the greatest hack ever" he said and it's only because he's lying and promoting the idea that the hack is a real hack of the government surveillance or government surveillance tools government Communications and it's just falsified information it's deep fake and synthetic voices and it's certainly not me on there since I hear about it through people that appear to digest the propaganda that is made for an unknown entity or called and they'll defend it at all costs even when I'm faced with myself in person trying to explain what I saw and witness moments ago they will be angry and yell that is different somehow I know that as well as the cult members that follow it could be considered mentally ill it's a mass delusion and they will argue with me when I was the only person supposedly there and they start screaming so I'm not sure if their mind control machinery is real and very effective or if they're just illogical.it is said wiithout an independent mind 75% of us are content and follow a simple rule to believe the first thing we heard no matter where we heard it denying all further future evidence in fact even repeating it throughout our lives every time we hear something contrary to what we thought we knew of course even using the word knowing that sense is an incorrect usage of the word because it's what they think is true not what is really true for all time and all observation points. This concept rang true and was driven into me and the rest of us in my grade 5 class Mr Lindsey explained we should always seek to get the answer ourselves before we know something is true, you can't know something unless you know yourself and that even means stuff that he's teaching to us. we would have to check ourselves before we knew it was true. I've yet to receive a response the fellow on the bus however there may be another reason he recommended the book as I myself have recommended books to total strangers out of the blue usually after just finishing reading them if they were fantastic. I have another book recommendation recommended to me couple years ago by a colleague who uses the techniques in it it is on the other end of the subconscious scientific debate and it is still on my reading list. .
Regarding powers of the subconscious: A colleague recommended Uncle Fester's book "Psionics Powers." I have not read it, but it may interest you. The conscious mind programs the subconscious. I learned about the subconscious through brain science from authors like Douglas Hofstadter, the mathematician who wrote "Gödel, Escher, Bach," and he wrote "Strange Loop." Books by Noam Chomsky, the world's master linguist, also helped me understand the subconscious. Noam Chomsky even spoke at the IEEE recently, describing the discovery and formation of connectomics, which is the science of the brain wiring between neurons. Noam mentioned that connectomics proves everything we've suspected about how brains store meaning. He pushed for a bigger breakthrough, stating that connectomics is nice, but it's not really anything special. When Newton discovered gravity, everybody already knew what gravity was. It was not that he discovered gravity. This discovery is similar. What they need is something similar to Newton's 9.8 m/s², regardless of the weight of an object. It falls to the Earth at 9.8 meters per second squared. Read about connectomics at IEEE. It's amazing if you're interested in the brain.
I got started understanding the subconscious from the great scientist Isaac Asimov. He said for writer's block, watch a simple movie. Afterwards, you'll know what to write. I have experienced this in my own life while developing software. Sometimes, I go to sleep with a difficult problem, and I wake up in the middle of the night to write it down. The creator of the band Megadeth Dave Mustaine said for one of his songs that he woke up in the middle of the night and had the entire thing in his head If you want to get a little bit more out there, you could reference the book "Doors of Perception" by psychologist Aldous Huxley. The band of Jim Morrison was named after this book and also spoke about hallucinogens. See also Wade Davis, the ethnobotanist, or read "The teachings of Don Juan" by Carlos Castaneda, related to peyote experiences he had with a shaman in Mexico in the 60's.
As far as the knowable truths I have understanding of consciousness up until most recent advances in brain science. As a computer systems analyst I can call my experience Information Scientist and so I have read headlines for interesting research recently on consciousness in the brain and you should check those as well as the scientific sources and books mentioned here.
The brain has lower levels of the subconscious and hidden thoughts. Basically, it includes all the thoughts that you can imagine, including right or wrong, positive or negative. By the time a healthy brain filters the thoughts, it cancels out all of the negative ones and the illogical or false incorrect thoughts. Anything that is not useful, true, or bad and painful is not positive. If you tell your brain lies all the time or if you lie to yourself or tell yourself negative things, eventually you will have negative thoughts at your conscious level. But if you stay focused on being positive, you will have positive thoughts as the final result. It's good to have positive, correct, and relevant thoughts, whatever your life is facing. The subconscious hides all the low-quality ideas that may or may not be real or true.
If we had a machine to see someone's subconscious, we would see all the things that are not real, not true, or negative that the brain comes up with. When it thinks of a solution, it comes up with all the possible solutions, and then there are a bunch of wrong ones. The correct one is left over. People who lie to themselves or others, or people who allow themselves to be negative or focus on something unproductive, will eventually have these thoughts. By training your brain, since it's very simple, the part of the brain we share with animals is something like four letters of DNA in the entire cerebral cortex. It's a tapestry, basically a single 3D weave of neurons throughout the entire cerebral cortex. All animals share fight or flight recognition, facial recognition, object recognition, recognition of food, recognition of shelter, and mating and fight or flight. That's pretty much it, and it's done with such a simple seeming pattern of neurons. Yet, object recognition has only recently been able to be done correctly by computers. With sex, shelter, etc., I think it's interesting to know that a dog, although aware of other things in the world, seems to have very little awareness of itself. Dogs will look at a mirror and maybe be confused once in their life at the other dog, but they don't sit there and worry about how they look. They don't even notice themselves, really. It's not a big deal. It's nothing anymore. It's just a TV program to the dog when it's looking in the mirror. Thank you. Have a good day.
