My Synopsis:
Research data from NYU Langone Medical Center indicates Psilocybin may have long lasting behavioral changes which are very helpful as a treatment for Alcohol Dependence and Addiction. The recent studies look promising, and if I heard accurately at the conference, NYU Langone Medical Center will be needing 100 participants for a Psilocybin Study coming soon. You might want to check with them if you are interested. I recommend google to find out more info. As a matter of fact whatever I need to know I just ask google, and I usually get good answers. That all I do. I try hard to explain this to friends and people who ask me to find out about someone or something for them. There is no magic or mystery, and just about anyone can do it. This is what I tell them.

I am not fan of the use of synthetic Psilocybin and any other synthetic drugs either. Unfortunately that is what Universities use, and I understand the reason why. University researchers needs standardized purity for psychedelics to get consisted results in studies. In my opinion, synthetic and isolated alkaloids are not as effective in healing as the natural Entheogens that are already present in the plants, mushrooms, cacti, and toads. It is my understanding that you can also get medicine from cobras, scorpions, and bee venom. There is a synergism of many alkaloids and compounds in all these healing plants and animals, and I just don't think you can pick and choose one correct alkaloid out of each and every one of them.
