All alone.
Do you love your own company? Then you are likely to be very intelligent.
A study by the British Journal of Psychology British Journal of Psychology shows that very wise people generally prefer to be alone and that they directly feel that their quality of life is deteriorating if they are to be surrounded by humans all the time. This is true even for their good friends.
In other words, they simply are not very happy to be with their friends.
Intelligent people are more target-oriented strings - and in this context, the presence of other people is simply terribly annoying and disturbing.
They do not spend much time socializing because their high intelligence enables them to focus on goals far beyond the future rather than satisfying a social need right now and here. They are quicker to leave evolutionary and past-term needs, such as having friends, to achieve their goals as opposed to people who are not as intelligent.
For having friends is a need that originates from the time people lived as hunters and collectors. And if we look at our ancestors, we can figure out why there are some of us who still think it's great to have friends.
Friendship or alliances, if you want, were vital for survival during the collective / hunter period. For example, with friends or alliances, it was possible to hunt groups, share food, reproduce and help look after each other's children.
The study is based on an analysis of interview data from 15,197 people in the age group 18 to 28 years. And those who have a higher quality of life to be with their friends still hang on in the past. And they do, because evolutionarily there are a number of positive consequences associated with having friends, which most of us, usually deadly, have also experienced on their own body.
For example, friendships get people to feel presence and that there is someone who needs them. And if you have a friend, you also have to share your experiences with.
Evolution psychologists behind the study explain that we can sometimes find answers to our 'modern' feelings by looking at our ancestors' needs. Apparently our brains are designed to work in groups of around 150 people and an average personal network consists of 154 people. However, it is better to have few, close friendships than to have many vague in order to increase their quality of life.
And there also a little monkey dabei. The study also shows that it is a sign of higher intelligence if you spend a lot of time socializing.
I used to like being alone... But then anxiety visited me and So I learned that I need few people to accompany me. DOes that mean that I stopped being wise? Heheh.. Just kidding! Very informaTive post. Upvoting ang following. c". )

Perhaps wise people understand the need to explore the imagination and reconnect with the inner self :)

I'm the living proof that this isn't true. Or maybe I'm smart enough to realize how stupid I actually am. Who knows, man, who knows...

Great post!
I like being alone :-)
No arguing with people, no stress, no compromises ;-)
BUT it is nice to have a friend over (sometimes)... Unless the friend is talking about her job and colleagues all day long... then I wish being alone again ;-)
