Last night I tried to rekindle my social life in the offline world, due to my busy schedule, it's been like four days since I hanged out with any of my friends that meant a whole lot to me. I've been busy here and there; from home, to the school where am currently a student teacher, back home, to the blockchain and lastly to my mom's store.

So last night, I said to myself, damn... I need to hang out with one of my closest buddy I haven't seen in days, so I adamantly put on my clothes and went straight to his house, to hook up with him. When I got there, we had a cheerful gist that tarried for an hour, surprisingly, then came in his big sister who was so happy to see me, we had a little chitchat and she asked me; Why am I always glued to my phone? What's all this discord, chrome etc? And I was like, big sis you won't understand, I further said; My phone is my office, it brings food on my table and she was like; You are joking right? and I said NO. She smirked at me saying; How much in cash have you made just for staying glued to your phone?

Then..... proceeded from my mouth a reply that kept her silent. I don't know if I'll call this wisdom of the unknown, I said this words to her;

“Little pennies makes a mighty bank”

Yes... you read that right, little pennies makes a mighty bank! My account on the chain has a large space; blogging page, share page, activity page, author/curator page, following and followers page, comments and replies page and lastly my rewards/wallet page. All in one, all these make up my space in my account. The rewards or wallet section is my bank, it's where all the pennies I make from creating contents or adding value in the system goes to. On whaleshares am already a dolphin or a mini-whale due to the pennies I've gathered so far since I joined the wls ecosystem as an active community member. Same goes to my steem account but it's nothing compared to my progress in wls save the difference in value of the rewards therein.

I am not ashamed of investing my time on the chain, it has changed the face of life in ways I never imagined. So, some people see me and think am wasting my time staying glued to my phone without seeing the productivity of the ART.

Reflecting on the conversation of the chitchat I had last night, I still wonder why I said those words. LOL. To me, I believe, It also should apply in our daily endeavours, your little whatever makes a mighty equivalent of that whatever. If people question what you passionately do, I think that should be a good reply...

If they belittle you or sarcastically say to you; Why do you learn to cook? — just tell them “Litte dishes makes a mighty restaurant/canteen”. That's if you are passionately pursuing a means of survival with the staff of recipes or food ingredients.
