Um método fácil de testar e conseguir melhorar e agilizar resultados é focar em apenas uma das tarefas por um bom período de tempo. Ao invés de alternar de dez em dez minutos entre pesquisar, escrever/desenhar/programar e conferir se está tudo OK, passe uma hora direto em apenas uma dessas tarefas.
A importância disso vem do jeito que sua própria cabeça funciona. Toda vez que você muda seu foco, tem que fazer pegar no tranco de novo. Quando finalmente estabilizar e estiver bem concentrado no que estiver fazendo, fique onde está!
Na verdade, cada vez que o assunto muda, seu cérebro usa um pouco de glicose. Cafézinho no escritório não pode faltar porque lá todo mundo muda de uma coisa pra outra direto, e cada vez que isso acontece, lá vai mais glicose e mais vontade de tomar outra xícara. Isso causa um desgaste de recursos neurais e péssimos vícios. Se você tem a oportunidade de evitar isso, é a escolha mais saudável e produtiva.
É claro que o humor também influencia o quanto você consegue ser eficiente. Além dos problemas que não podemos evitar, temos que tomar cuidado com aqueles com que temos opção. Se eu acordo e como sucrilhos no café da manhã, o cereal fermenta na minha barriga e fico indisposto por um bom tempo, o que me tira o humor e me deixa indisposto. Só que por três décadas nem sabia que isso me acontecia!
Não é normal prestar atenção aos sinais do corpo e perceber que você fica muito melhor quando faz uma pequena mudança (como eu que passei a comer apenas frutas assim que acordo), mas tenho certeza que vocês também vão melhorar o astral se derem a importância ao que nosso físico comunica, e que nunca fomos ensinados a reparar.

Obrigado por me lembrar do meu erro em parar minha leitura de um capítulo de um livro sobre filosofia da matemática, que é bem difícil, para ler seu texto, reativando assim o ciclo de consumo de glicose, hahaha.
Mas essa dica é valiosa mesmo: o foco é imprescindível para o sucesso. E algo que pode auxiliar nisso são técnicas pomodoro. Eu uso um aplicativo chamado "Productivity Challenge Timer", que auxilia nisso. E para ver minha consolidação de hábitos de uma forma mais ampla, utilizo o aplicativo Habit Hub. Recomendo!

Pomodoro é legal, e parece ideal para o dia-a-dia. Já em projetos, 25 minutos é muito pouco tempo. Eu, como hobbysta ocasional de criação de games, faço um desenvolvimento muito melhor se eu passar pelo menos 2 horas seguidas apenas no código, sem mexer nada em outras partes como a arte gráfica. Da lógica pra inspiração artística é uma mudança completa de direção, afinal de contas.
Apps já tentei usar, mas mal pego no celular, então acabei esquecendo! :P
