Em plena era moderna, é horrível que, numa situação social, possa chegar a percepção dos outros que seu pênis está endurecido ou que sua vagina está num momento delicado do mês.
Mesmo que seja natural, por vezes acontece dele ficar excitado e ter que vergonhosamente esconder o fato. Aparece o terror de que seja descoberto no meio de um evento chique, ou próximo a crianças porque podem julgá-lo como predador sexual, estuprador ou pedófilo. O cara pode até sentir culpa e nojo de si por causa de seus hormônios, mesmo que estes sejam incontroláveis pela consciência.
O mesmo acontece com as mulheres que estão nos dias mais vermelhos do ciclo delas. O esforço abismal pra disfarçar a dolorosa cólica só piora sua situação, mas se faz necessário para evitar o desconforto e até repulsa nas outras pessoas, criando situações desagradáveis.
Como um espirro, querendo ou não, essas coisas acontecem. Espero que todos aprendamos a lidar melhor com isso a ponto de não ter mais receio da próxima vez que acontecer com a gente.
