Hurricane Maria has devastated the island of Puerto Rico and even though most have power and water restored, there are still patients and residents who are still with out power.
This is my second time going out with Receta Solar and the Priester Foundation to help bring power to people who are living in the mountains and away from the metropolitan areas. Seeing the looks on the faces of people who have been without power for 9 months is heart warming but it's disturbing that there is still a need for these volunteer services.
In my opinion, people really need to wake up to solar power and it's potential. 9 months is just too long in this day and age to go without electricity.
There are many who have adapted to not using electricity but agree it sucks for everybody impacted.

Yea we will always adapt as human but yes, sucks a lot, especially for patients.
