The pufferfish contains a toxin 1,200 times more lethal than cynanine - a drop of which can kill within 24 hours. As I read, there is enough poison in one pufferfish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote.

In Japan wasting pufferfish is considered a dangerous delicacy. The cheers prepare it by cutting out the small it if the fish that is edible. I've always wanted to try it.
