Puncak Mandeh is a tourist spot that resembles Raja Ampat in Pesisir Selatan Regency and is directly adjacent to the city of Padang. Puncak Mandeh is located approximately 56 km from the city of Padang and can be reached by car for 1 hour drive. The Mandeh tourist area itself has an area of 18,000 hectares and includes 7 villages out of 3 nagari whose residents work as fishermen, raise livestock and farm.
The Mandeh area is a combination of natural hills with a beautiful bay decorated with small islands in the middle of Carocok Tarusan Bay. It is not surprising if the Mandeh Region is well known in Indonesia and at the international level. From Puncak Mandeh, you can see the cluster of Traju Islands, Little Devils Island, Big and Small Sironjong and Cubadak Island and the gradations of sea water that add to the beauty of this Mandeh Region.
