An Asian tea set has rather smaller cups without a handle, so that you can warm your hands while enjoying tea at the same time.
Different tea service
A porcelain tea set is often made in the Gaiwa style and often painted with art. In addition to the saucer, each tea cup also includes a lid for the cup. This lid has the purpose of keeping the tea warm. Among the various tea services from China, you can occasionally find a Chinese porcelain tea set in the colour blue. An original Japanese tea set is often found at an antique dealer. Of course, the corresponding prices are also to be expected here. If you want to get the Chinese tea service as a bargain, you also have the possibility to look around in the various classified ad portals. There is always the possibility to get real Chinese porcelain from inheritance or estate administrations. However, you should be familiar with China porcelain so that you can make a real bargain and not fall for a cheap imitation.
