A LOGICAL PUZZLE FOR THE SMARTEST OF THE DOLPHINS
There are three gods A, B and C that are called, in a certain order, Truth, Falsehood and Randomness. Truth always speaks the truth, Falsehood always lies, and the answears made by Randomness are completely random, they can be both true or false. Your task is to determine the identities of A, B and C by asking three questions to which the answear will be yes or no; each question will be directed only to one god. The gods understand English, but will answear the questions in their own language, in which Da and Ja stand for Yes and No, in a certain order. You don´t know which means which.
CLARIFICATIONS:
-It´s possible to ask one god more than one question (which means that it is possible that you won´t ask all the gods a question).
-What will be the second question and which god will it be directed to may depend on the answear that you have received for your first question. (This also applies to the third question.)
-Randomness will answear Da or Ja each time asked a yes-or-no question.
(The answear available on request, or you can ask George Boolos)
