This is the Arduino Uno form factor and compatible board from Adafruit, the Metro M4 Express.

It is more powerful, has nice additions, such as on/off switch and a Neopixel, but even better it runs Python.

Just plug it in and write your Python text file right to the external drive that appears.

It's really cool that some of these little boards are getting more and more Python support. A few years ago it was still really in its infancy. Being able to program small little projects in an easy to learn and universal language is a great time saver and great for learning. This board would likely be a perfect gift for a budding young geek to get started in electronics and hardware hacking, for example. They could use it to make all sorts of projects, and likely throw together something that would wow the adults around them in a few days or weeks for something like a science fair.
