Baby Southern African Rock Python hatching.
At SnakeCity we have bred many snakes.
Baby snakes are interesting - they are all individuals - not all the same. From one batch of eggs you get snakes with a variety of different characters.
Although generally you can describe them as being similar, if you observe them closer you will notice different likes and dislikes.
For example - some may be aggressive and strike out if handled, others may be calm and can be handled.
Some will climb branches and sleep there, others will sleep under shelter.
Even preferred prey varies - some may eat mice right away, others may prefer pink rats- it is absolutely fascinating.
