I see a lot of poorly written posts on steemit. I think steemit is quite a small, elite social network (this is because we have few users, compared to other social networking sites, a complex setup, with delegation, curation rewards, witnesses etc, and a week-long signup process. Because of this, content should reflect this idea of an elite community. We want to incentivise publishers, many of whom are being pushed out of business with the ever-decreasing revenues of online ads, to come to steemit and make quality content. As such I will create a guide on how to create a decent post. This one is about structure.
Start with an introduction. What will you talk about in your post?
Move on to the body. Use paragraphs to separate ideas, and make sure you don't jump between ideas - explore one fully, and move on to the next.
Look at what others might say, is there another side to this argument. Acknowledge it, and explain why you think it's wrong.
