I Don't Think That My Country's President Will Lift The Lockdown Soon

I had learned that the military had added more of its reservists and personnel in the filed, here in the main island of Luzon where we have an enhanced community quarantine. I think that it is a sign that not only the quarantine would get extended but also will get more stricter especially now that there are many violators in the country.

You couldn't blame the people as many of them are already bored being at home and nothing to do, they cannot work and possibly doesn't have any computer or online work to do that can make them preoccupied with their time.

Some people are just too hard-headed already and some just want to earn a living so they would collect trash or sell something to augment their food because the food given to them (us) are almost always just rice and sardines.

Also the cases of people getting the corona virus is still going up which means even though that there is a quarantine there are still infections so it would be so scary to lift up the quarantine because people will be like cows that were let out from the pen and unto the pastures and then the cases will spike up.

We cannot afford to get many cases and even now the capacities of hospitals are limited with several reported after two weeks saying and telling the public that they will not anymore accept patients. So what more if the cases go up to plague levels?

The president also had said that if there would be at least some way to treat the CoViD infections or cure it he will then immediately lift the lockdown. So now there is no cure yet and therefor in my view he will not lift it but instead enforce it some more and get harsher to punish the lockdown offenders.

There is a dilemma which is the economic impact of the lockdown in the country. But I think if the quarantine gets extended for many months and the government's assets and money had been used up then I think at that point the government will consider lifting the lockdown but will just enforce the wearing of masks and protective gear for the people just to minimize the infections.
