We are Quarashi. We are a team of experienced ecommerce and cryptocurrency professionals, with over a decade of experience in the industry. We have already started our development with a test version of the platform, where you can already make purchases in Bitcoin.
We are a Blockchain based cryptocurrency and eCommerce platform focused on the adoption of cryptocurrencies by ordinary people. We believe that mass adoption is possible and we are creating a platform to help bring this about.
We aim to build an ecosystem that will enable everyone to adopt cryptocurrencies as easily as possible. Our platform will be built around a token called XQN, which will be used for all transactions on the Quarashi platform.
Our partnership with Changelly enables us to make it easy for you to exchange any cryptocurrency into XQN or vice versa.
We are planning to create our own marketplace platform, but we will also work with other marketplaces like Amazon and eBay to make their services available for payment in XQN.
We will also develop our own blockchain powered marketplace that is fully integrated with Amazon and eBay.
We are planning to release an MVP in Q4 2018. Our goal is to make cryptocurrency payments available for the mainstream market. We will do this by making crypto payments easy and secure on every popular ecommerce site out there. We will offer a full integration with Amazon and eBay, but also create our own marketplace where you can buy anything at all using your XQN tokens!
We believe that having experienced professionals in charge will bring us the most success. Our team is already making sales on Amazon and eBay. Our CEO Anand has extensive experience in e-commerce, he used to be one of the top sellers at Amazon India for more than five years, held various roles including as a category manager for Home & Kitchen products at Amazon India, along with several different roles at Amazon US including as an associate manager for Business Development and Category Manager for Consumer Electronics.*
Our CTO Prashant has been working on software development for over 12 years now and has been involved in e-commerce projects before. He has
Our goal is to bring cryptocurrency to the masses. We want to help people to get rid of their current financial system and be able to use cryptocurrencies instead. Quarashi will offer an ecosystem where it is easy for anyone to adopt cryptocurrency, which will be beneficial for both the token holders and the merchants.
You will be able to purchase products on our platform with XQN, a token that you can earn by participating in our community or buy during the ICO. But you will also be able to pay with any other cryptocurrency available on Changelly, as well as fiat currency like dollars or euros. This way everyone can participate in our platform and use its features.
We are planning to develop many features for our platform in the future, including:
- Marketplace - games - affiliate program - clothes shop - marketplace for 3D models - coin swap - e-commerce plug-ins (WordPress) - affiliate program - games - clothes shop - marketplace for 3D models - coin swap - e-commerce plug-ins (WordPress)
We are planning to build a marketplace that accepts payments made by customers in XQN, but also accepts other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It will also accept fiat currencies like dollars and euros if some vendors will be willing to
We are a group of friends who have been working together for the past six years on projects like Quarashi.
We had three major challenges when we started this project.
The first was to create a solution where people could easily use any cryptocurrency in their day-to-day life.
The second was to create an ecosystem that will enable everyone to adopt cryptocurrencies as easily as possible, without friction and barriers in the way of mass adoption.
The third was to do it all from scratch.
We have already launched the first version of our Amazon like platform, where users can now buy and sell products for cryptocurrency. We will be adding more and more features to this platform in the coming months.
We have also released a working alpha version of our chat app and are currently testing it with our community.
We are currently in the process of developing our own blockchain and wallet and will announce further details of this project in due course.
We hope that you will join us on this journey!
The term "platform" has become a bane of software-industry discourse. It's overused, and in most cases it doesn't mean what people think it means. TempleOS is a platform . The Mac App Store is not .
The Linux kernel is a platform . It defines an API for filesystems, web servers, sockets, etc., and it provides various services that these programs can use. And then thousands of programs use the Linux kernel as a foundation to provide their own APIs and services.
The Mac App Store is not a platform . It provides no APIs. It merely sells binaries for base system functions like printing and opening PDFs. The only reason it qualifies as a "platform" at all is because Apple also happens to provide an OS with the same APIs that the apps use.
Platforms are great! But if you want to build something like TempleOS or the Mac App Store, don't call it a platform just because you happen to be selling binaries on top of an operating system.
"You don't understand," the character played by Sandra Bullock in Gravity complains. "It's not about the money."
"Then what's it about?" asks George Clooney.
"It's about doing the right thing," she replies. "It's about faith, about trust."
And that pretty much sums up Hollywood's take on space exploration. The moral reasons for exploring space and the practical reasons don't mix well in film; they're too disparate. Either you're a saint or you're a screw-up. There are only two ways to be in space: to go there to save humanity or because you screwed up so badly on Earth that they needed someone expendable to go up there and die on camera.
Among other things, Gravity was a paean to NASA, even though it was filmed after the shuttle program had ended and almost no one involved with the film had ever been involved with NASA. It humanized astronauts who, in real life, spend most of their time training for missions, which is why we see so many photos of them doing mundane things like grocery shopping or walking their dogs.*
