What is the problem with avatar picture?

Hi I am Peter - please help me.

Maybe you will know - why my steemit my profile avatar picture: (the small round one) do not show on anywhere?

I had this problem before, than I have changed to one which appeared instantaneously, and now wanting to change it to a different one I lost it again.

Is it because of their size or something?

Other thing is these notification numbers at feed replies and so on where on for few days, and now gone - anyone of you has it, any ideas, why do I not have it anymore?

Please help :)

            Your "round" pic shows up just fine for me. I see all of your replies on your main page as well.

              It showed now, after I have put the one which displays as background picture and I have already changed it for the one I would like and still the old one stays...

                Now I can see the one I added, which is also the background photo, but I don't want it to be an avatar picture :(
