Is Steem going to die

I recently came back to steemit and found out about what just happened.

Steemit Inc. is bought by Justin Sun and Steem forked to Hive Blockchain. And most of the people went to hive.

Anyways. Is there a reason to stay on steem?
And how much time will it take before almost everybody just moves on to hive and leaves steem?

If you someone is still wanting to use steem so why?
