How will Steem comply with the EU GDPR (European General Data Protection Regulation) laws?

in question •  7 years ago

The upcoming EU GDPR (European General Data Protection Regulation) laws coming into effect this Spring/Summer require all sites to eliminate personal identifiable information of it's users upon request.

Since Steem is blockchain and currently doesn't support removing posts or deleting accounts, how will they comply with these laws?
