Wondering if it makes sense for a new user on Steemit to buy Steem Power tokens. Looks like the funds would be locked up for 2 years. Are the potential rewards worth it assuming you plan on creating quality content?

I just upvoted you, and I must say that I enjoy having the little bit of influence that I have with my SP: Steem Power won't help you earn more by creating content. That depends only on the SP of the voters. Once you have a near average amount of SP, you will receive meaningful rewards for curation (voting), so power up if you intend to earn by voting.

Thanks for your response and your upvote! I wasn't clear on whether SP increased the blogging rewards.
