About @jamerussell, I also met him on steem terminal like I said before almost everyone I know on this platform are from steem terminal. He is one of person's that goes out of his busy schedule to assist other steemians. A good teacher toolol, like you need to be there when he explains something... you really do not have a choice but understand what he means. He is a nice friend too and the man behind the Hey Have You Met posts... Yeah he does such good works... Do well to visit his page.

Now to the business of the day...

What is one of your valued lessons about life?

Don’t get drunk and ride a motorcycle, but more importantly, don’t drive anything that can injure someone else.

How would you describe yourself?

Probably one of the most mellow people around, I don’t get excited easily, and have a lot of patience for the things and the ones I care about. I have a serious dislike for stupid inconsiderate people who trample on and judge other people when they really need to go look in the freakin’ mirror and start there. As I said recently in a post that people that judge other people are judging them in their own perception of reality, and when they have not walked in someone else’s shoes, how can they know what is right for that someone else?
My favorite saying is “I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person”

What is your most prized asset?

I consider my life experience to be my most prized asset. I have a multitude of experience in a bunch of different areas, and that helps me to negotiate with others in their own experiences. I like to work with other people. I took a few semesters of college and majored in psychology, math, and English composition and was carrying a 4.0 average. But working full time and then driving over a mountain range to go to 4 or 5 hours of school every night took it’s toll, and I quit.

What decision have you regretted making?

My decision to start smoking. It was the worst decision ever. I was in the USMC in Millington Naval Air Station outside of Memphis, Tennesee. I was studying Jet Mechanics, and I’m a native Californian, and when everyone else was busy, I got homesick and I remember buying a pack of smokes, and sitting on a park bench. I hated cigarettes before that, as both of my parents smoked, my dad was cigars, and my mom was Pall Mall reds. I bought a pack of Marlboro Menthols, and started smoking and now regret that decision.

What is your idea of a perfect day?

A perfect day would be to go out on a nice warm day and walk around and then come back and hop on one of my bikes and go to lunch and just smell the roses.

Would you prefer a movie night or a music concert?

Neither, since I never have liked going into crowded areas, and I’d rather stay home and watch a movie on the Tv. I guess my wife conspired with my son one time, and they got tickets to a Bob Seger concert here in San Jose for my birthday, and my son made sure that we were near a door, and a restroom was close by, and that was one of the best nights ever. But I still don’t care for crowds. I’m a pretty private person. And it’s true, that I can be in a room full of people and be lonely, but I am a people watcher, so I would sit back and just watch.

What experience would you want others to learn from?

I spent my entire life as a professional driver, everything on the road from construction equipment, transports, doubles over the road and riding motorcycles, and half of my life working on the roads, and the worst thing I have seen that I would want people to learn from is the lack of experience of driving while being distracted. That is an something they do not need to experience if they listen, which they won’t, and that is another one of my main pet peeves.

Where would you rather spend your time alone and doing what?

At my computer helping someone or playing Slayers in EliteGamers.

Who is your favorite artist?

I don’t have a favorite artist, I am not much of an art connoisseur; music: probably Yanni, Rush or AC/DC.

What is your idea of fun?

Flying model airplanes then go to the range and do some shooting and then come home and make a HHYM (Hey Have You Met) post.
