I dont find any authentic way to buy steem directly using paypal. However you can always buy bitcoin from localbitcoins using paypal and then convert to steem or SBD via online exchanges.

Thank you very much @uxair

Thank you @happyhousewife :)

At this point I have not bought any cryptocurrencies. Things are headed south and when they do I would rather hold paper money than claim to own crypto currencies. But if crypto currencies are going to be purchased they should proably only be held until a piece of land can be bought.

How are you doing Captain? :)

I hear ya. I don't really think of the shifting we are going through in terms of 'going south'. Or, at least I try not to. I am coming at it from the perspective of everything in life is changing. It's like a collective and personal rebirth. The way that I am going with it all is I am working very hard so that I can help my family pay for the property we are buying hopefully faster than the rate we are right now. Of course, I would also like to get my very own piece of land someday, too and I feel like cryptocurrencies have the potential to play a major role in accomplishing such goals and also in adapting to the new way of living that is emerging. Especially STEEM. I admire, respect & am inspired by the way @ned & @dan have gone about weaving crypto and daily life together in such a way that enables people to connect, learn and change lives (each others and our own) in such a simple but profound way. Keep in mind crypto was completely foreign to me prior to becoming a Steemian. This is literally tapping into limitless potential and IMHO one of the greatest gifts that could be given to humanity. I've got 100% faith in STEEM and the future of STEEMIT and will be pouring what I can into the community. Steemit is like an extra motivator to keep growing and learning and sharing while doing so. I plan to continue evolving so I can create better quality content as I do so. I love the idea and feeling of being part of a community that seeks to enrich the lives of each member. The pennies I used to save for rainy days are now being saved as my 'steem fund'. I want to start buying some STEEM every month.

:) Love ya Captain. God Bless You My Friend

I also like the way that steemit has weaved cryptocurrencies into social media. Also I am sort of able to understand the feelings that you have about replacing 'things going southward' with just the idea of change To use a cooking term instead of everything going southward, the batter that we are all in life is about to be folded. A few months ago I asked a buddy of mine to pick me up a chunk of alliminum, right now I own a chunk of metal that might be worth a couple of dollars but did you know that among the crown jewels of France there used to be a bar of alliminum. Alliminium used to be hard to extract out of the ground so it used to be very valuable. Also in ancient Egypt an once of cinnamon was more valuable than an once of gold. In my mind investing soley in crypto is like building a platform on the edge of a quater...the saying that I remember is that if you can't hold it then you do not own it. I am not saying that investing in crypto is always a bad idea, I am just saying that if 90% of your savings is being used to buy crypto then I think that you could be putting yourself in a bad situation.
