This is only a short charge for us to prepare our hearts and minds before we do #steemit today. Let us start the day by reading our Bible to Psalm 148 - introducing #quiettime your silent, spend time with God by reading the Bible, prayer and singing.

The word Praise in this chapter was repeated 11 times. As per comment says; “anything that is repeated many times in the Bible is very important”

What comes out to your mind if you heard the word Praise?

Praise is an action word that means: to glorify God especially by the attribute of His perfections.

The Psalmist Heart

The person/s or musician/s who wrote the book of Psalms – they are songs written by dedicated to God). The Psalmist here encourages the angels, heavenly hosts, the sun, the moon, the stars… to Praise God because of two reasons:

1. They are God’s creation

Let them praise the Lord, for at His command they were created – verse 5

2. God established His command for them

And he established them forever and ever – he issued a decree that will never pass away – verse 6

Top of the list of God’s command can be found in Matthew 22:37, Jesus says,

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind

What is the implication of Psalm 148?

Like the angels, the sun, the moon, the stars, the heavenly hosts, etc, we are God’s creations as well and He too established His command for us

Some reasons that I could think of why God did what He had to do are

1. God Wants His Love for Us to be Experienced by Man
2. God Wants to Experience Man’s Love towards Him

God is faithful to us even though we fall short sometimes. There are so many reasons why we do so. And one of those forgetfulness. Forgetfulness that we are created by God and He established His command to for us.That’s why the Pslamist in this scripture reminds all creations of God, including us, that:

God is BIGGER than our Challenges

We don’t have to worry on things because God is in control and pain is only temporary but God is FOREVER.

God is BIGGER than our Dreams

We should Praise God all the time even though things don’t go according to plan. God has greater plans for us.

Today, as we Praise and worship God, let us imitate the heart of the Psalmist that he reminds everyone who God is – He is truly worthy to be praised. Let us spread to the world who God (the Creator) is as we too spread #steemit (the creation) to the world.
