Why am I asking about these movies? I want you to imagine this. Wat if you are one of the mighty men/women in true-to-life story, what will you do if you are surrounded by your enemies and you are out-numbered?

A sacred song or hymn, in particular any of those contained in the biblical Book of Psalms and used in Christian and Jewish worship - www.google.com . Psalm chapter was written by King David, a mighty warrior of God who is after God’s own heart. This is the time when he was surrounded by the enemy.

When I read again the scripture and meditate on it, I was amazed on the #faith of David towards to God.

David describes God as his Shield (verse 3)

And in verse 7, David acknowledges that God is more powerful than his enemies – that God can and would strike the enemies’ jaws and break their teeth. That’s why he concluded in verse 6, I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side. - Amen

How can we relate to David?

David’s enemies are like our challenges. They are everywhere, sometimes they are many, sometimes they are loud in our heads, sometimes they are overwhelming, sometimes we feel hopeless because of them and sometimes we feel faithless because of the weight of the burden that challenges brings us. With this in mind…

What do we do with our challenges?

Do we run from our challenges and grumble to God about them? or…

Do we pray and ask for help to God to face them with solutions?

Whichever you choose, to run or to pray, we will exert some effort to it.

Flight mode vs Fight Mode

To answer our question earlier on what will you do if you are surrounded by your enemies and you are out-numbered, let us imitate the heart of David that instead of running from his enemies, he prayed to God and faced them with all his might – that's why he won his battles . Thus, this would help us grow in our character so that if next challenges would arise, we would know who to call and remember – God is our Shield, God is our Answer and God is our Deliverance. so that we will win like David.

Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, good morning God. Truly you are our shield, you are our answer, you are our deliverance from our challenges that we face everyday or is currently facing. Please help us to believe in this truth Father so that we would be fooled by our enemies (Satan). Help us not to be afraid though we are surrounded with burdens. Help us to imitate the faith of David. Please increase our faith some more in you so that we could please you. I pray for protection and blessing for today. All these things I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
