Probably if you are in this place, you will feel thirsty. With this in mind, what can satisfy your thirst?
Water?

Which of the following could satisfy your thirst in the desert? But what if these are not available? What would you do? Let us answer this after reading our scripture today. Let us read our bible in Psalm 63

This is a Psalm of King David. He wrote this song for God. This was a time that he is in the Desert of Judah. In here we will know what satisfies his thirst

David Used a Metaphors

David denotes himself as like a parched land where there is no water and is in thirst of it.

David denotes God as like of a water where He can satisfy the needs of David which was being thirsty

Water is a very important thing in this world. It has many benefits to human beings mostly in their day to day activities.

Benefits of Water

taking a bath
cooking rice
feeding your pets
drinking juice when thirsty
drinking coffee when sleepy
drinking milk before sleeping
and many more

Water is so beneficial to human beings. No wonder it is called as Universal Solvent.

It does makes sense now...

David used water as a metaphor for God because deep in his heart God is so beneficial to human beings. No wonder David was labeled as a person who is after God’s own heart - he is indeed a person with such awesome heart!

Dry parched land needs water, David needs God. His heart for God is worth imitating.

Human thirst could be in terms of physical or spiritual and it could be both.

Implication to Human Beings

God Provides and Satisfies our Needs

God provides our needs because He loves us so much. But He doesn’t just provide, He satisfies us with what He provides

God provides us air to satisfy our needs in breathing
God provides us food to satisfy our needs in eating
God provides us water to satisfy our needs in drinking
God provides us nature to satisfy our needs in enjoying
God provides us family to satisfy our needs in loving

What else can you think what God provides us everyday?

What can we give back to God for all the things He provided us?

God provides us team to satisfy our needs in reading
God provides us team to satisfy our needs in upvoting
God provides us team to satisfy our needs in commenting
God provides us team to satisfy our needs in resteeming

What else can you think what the team provides us everyday?

What can we give back to the team for all the things they provided us?

God is indeed awesome for always providing and satisfying our needs may it be in #Physicalworld or in #Steemitworld. God sets the golden rule: Do unto to others what you want others do unto you.

Today as we face our challenges, let us thank God for all He has done and will do for us in the future. One of those is providing this amazing platform called #steemit for this is a BIG help in our Physical and Spiritual needs. Thus, all our other needs will follow as long as we are connected to the source of all the blessings - God.
