This is a review of a very interesting liqour made in Columbia called Aguadiente Antioqueno which mean hot water or basically liqour.
The label is really fun and cool, though that is due to the brand, as there are other makers of Aguadiente Antioqueno
What is most interesting about this Aquadiente is that is has an anise flavor or black licorice flavor to it.
If you don’t like that flavor then this drink is NOT for you. However if you do than you will likely find this drink enjoyable.
It’s also somewhat thick especially when in the freezer or fridge.
It’s especially refreshing for alcohol especially cold with a bit of water and or ice.
It’s 29% liquor and made out of sugar cane which grows very well in South America.
It would be great with anything you enjoy anise with as for mixed drinks or food.
All in all it’s nice for one glass or on rare occasion, though as a go to drink it would not be a staple for me.
This one is for sure an occasional treat---anise is a special delight I for sure enjoy. I'm sure you did too!
