The more I dive into meditation and the workings of the mind, the more apparent it becomes that there is one constant, one thing that is certainly true, one thing that is inevitable and that is change.
The earlier we get with change, the sooner our experience of life will become lighter and more joyous. Your quality of life is closely correlated with your ability to accept the change that is unfolding around and within you every moment.
How do you work on getting with change?
Meditation
Meditation let’s you understand change on a experiential level. You can read all you want about swimming and water, but you will never know how it is, unless you jump into the lake. Reading about it is knowledge, only if you combine it with experience, it can become wisdom. Meditation allows you to gain that wisdom about change.
Knowledge
Read about change, listen to gurus talk about it, discuss it with your friends. Gathering knowledge helps you to gain insights and aha-moments. Also, it helps you to overwrite social conditioning. You control what you pay attention to, choose wisely.
