People often go with the flow or follow trends rather than setting them. This leads to a whole bunch of the same being put out there which ends up being seen as uninspired laziness. Never be afraid to be your own unique selves.. Not everyone has to like it, but as long as you're being your true self and putting out your own brand of awesome eventually someone will resonate with it.
